Monday Oct 30 - climbing at U of C
Hi all,
In case the climbing on Sunday's not enough for you, here's your chance to get 'pumped out' once again.
Monday, October 30, after 7:30pm I'll be at the U of C wall with a colleague of mine. There are going to be some COC people (generally referred to as COCs :-) ) bouldering there. Let me know if you decide to join us. See you on Sunday, hope you like raspberry jam with the pancakes.

Sunday, October 1st Outdoor Climbing
Okay gang, so here's the proposed plan for Sunday.
Post a comment to let me know if you want to change anything or if you want to come/can't come.
Brunch time: Meet at 11 am
Brunch location: Smitty's for brunch (hope to leave calgary by noon for everyone who isn't coming brunch) http://www.smittys.ca/access/Location/Home.aspx?locID=28
Carpool departs at noon from Smitty's
Climbing location: Nick will you pick a spot? Probably near Exshaw
It'll be a single pitch, relaxed climbing.
Please bring a rope if you are coming, Nick, Vera and I are already sharing one.
Looks like it might rain, so bring you hiking shoes and raincoats and we'll make it a wet hiking trip if our climbing get's cut short.

Steve Canyon, Sunday September 24
Despite warnings of excessive snowfall, Nick and Janice headed out to K-Country hoping to climb (they packed hiking gear in case there really was too much snow and had to go hiking instead). Unfortunately, their partner in crime couldn't make it out :(
Anyways, the climbing was awesome! They rappelled down off a tree to the first route and then rappelled down from there.
After top roping for a bit, they did some lead climbing on a 6 route.
The weather was sunny, but a little chilly as there is a creek running through Steve Canyon. But all in all it was very beautifull, especially with all the leaves changing colors.
